Anser Advisory Partners with Anaheim Transportation Network to be awarded $5M Clean Energy Grant

Orlando, FL.— March 22, 2021. Anser Advisory, LLC (“Anser Advisory” or “Anser”) is a proud partner in the recently awarded clean energy grant by the California Energy Commission (“CEC”) to which Anaheim Transportation Network (“ATN”) and affiliated partners have put together a team with proven experience to manage and deliver the ElectrifyAnaheim: ATN Microgrid project. Anser Advisory is a national firm specializing in capital program advisory and consulting services, which include strategy, funding, process development, organization preparedness, as well as project, program and agency construction management and controls. Anser Advisory is ranked 15th in ENR’s 2020 Top 50 Program Management Firms, 2nd on the Zweig AE Fastest Growing Hot List for 2020 and is a certified Great Places to Work organization.

Since August 2019, Anser has provided Owner’s Representative Services to assist the Anaheim Transportation Network with the management of the design-build of ATN’s new construction purpose-built Battery Electric Bus Operations & Maintenance Facility. The new facility will become the base of operations for ATN to support up to 100 battery-electric buses. Anser, along with their subconsultant IBI Group, supports ATN with tasks spanning across the programming, pre- design/planning, design, contractor selection, construction administration and closeout phases.

The clean energy grant funds awarded will be used to acquire charging stations, batteries, and the other solar infrastructure required to support ATN’s MicroGrid and zero-emission vehicle fleet. Anser Advisory along with other subconsultants under the leadership of ATN’s project team brings a breadth and depth of experience, expertise, and resources needed to bring the project to successful completion. These capabilities, combined with the business and management acumen at Anser Advisory, will ensure a successful project that is an asset to the region, providing environmentally responsible transportation that improves air quality by reducing greenhouse gases.

“This investment will assist ATN in delivering a world-class electric bus fleet that will not only benefit passengers but will also enhance air quality for the entire region,” stated Diana Kotler, ATN Executive Director. “With a goal of becoming California’s first all-electric bus fleet by 2025, we are excited to be creating sustainable public transportation options to meet the transit demands of local residents, employees and visitors.”

Anaheim Transportation Network is set to become California’s first all-electric public operator by 2025 and Anser Advisory is proud to be a partner alongside making history which plays an important role in connecting everyone in its community.
