About Autism Awareness Month

Each April, National Autism Awareness Month is dedicated to increasing awareness about Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). ASD is a group of developmental disorders; the symptoms, characteristics, and severity may vary for each individual. ASD. Since the diagnosis 2 of Autism Spectrum Disorder is complicated, it is recommended that individuals meet with medical professionals and specialists who have training and experience in this highly specialized area.
